The El-Fersh Palace in the Ghomrassen delegation in Tataouine Governorate will host the “E-Fast Camp” festival, starting Friday, April 11, 2025, for three days. The festival is under the supervision of the Electronic Echo Association in Tunisia and the regional authorities in Tataouine, and is supported by the “Tunisia Our Destination” tourism project, funded by the European Union.
Afif Riahi, president of the Electronic Echo Association, confirmed that the festival will feature 53 artists from around the world representing diverse cultures. The El-Fersh Palace will be a forum for ideas and creativity, where artists, thinkers, and participants will come together to redefine Tunisian heritage in the digital age through live performances and workshops.
Riahi also noted that the festival aims to preserve Tunisia’s cultural heritage while revitalizing the El-Fersh Palace through art, music, and technology.
He added that the festival represents a bridge between past and future, between tradition and innovation, by engaging local communities, highlighting diverse talents, and promoting sustainability, with the goal of further promoting cultural heritage while strengthening global ties.
Al-Riyahi also stated that the selection of the Al-Farsh Palace stems from the adoption of decentralization and regional and local development, which are the same objectives of the “Tunisia Our Destination” tourism project, funded by the European Union and supporting this event.
For his part, the Governor of Ghomrassen, Abdellatif Al-Sboui, confirmed that preparations for the festival had begun some time ago, including preparing the Al-Farsh Palace space and the tourist units to receive the region’s guests, establishing the logistical, technical, and human resources to support and accompany the festival, and scheduling local sessions to update the work plan drawn up by the festival administration and the governorate.
The Governor stated that all festival proceeds will be allocated to the maintenance and restoration of the Al-Farsh Palace, in addition to allocating a pavilion at the festival to introduce and promote the products of women’s development groups.
